McMinnville, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native, Annie Frances Tate, age 80, was born April 25, 1942 and died July 26, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and of the Baptist faith, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred Morgan Sanders. She was married to Morton W. Tate on October 26, 1962, who preceded her in death on October 8, 2012. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lee and David Sanders and sister, Janie Nunley. Mrs. Tate is survived by three children and spouses, Regina (Richard) White of McMinnville, TN, Windell (Sherry) Tate of Rock Island, TN and Elaine (Clinton) Forsyth of McMinnville, TN; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Eric) Sams of AL, Bryan (Brooke) Tate, Jeffrey White and Nicholas White all of McMinnville, TN, Tyler (Maddison) Fults of Manchester, TN, Heather Fults of McMinnville, TN; two great-grandchildren, Blakely Reign Tate and Kinlee Sams; five sisters and brother-in-law, Sue (Leroy) Meeks of Altamont, TN, Shirley Meals of Beersheba Springs, TN, Mae Sanders and Jean Campbell both of Flat Branch, TN and Loretta Cantrell of Whitwell, TN; three brothers and sisters-in-law, William (Jonah) Sanders of Coalmont, TN, Joe (Shirley) Sanders of Flat Branch, TN and Gary Sanders of Tracy City, TN. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 29, 2022 in High’s Chapel with John Hobbs and Dennis Sons officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN.
