Annie Sue Reed

November 9, 1930 — July 28, 2024

McMinnville

Annie Sue Reed, 93, the daughter of the late Robert Newton and Louise Reed passed peacefully from this life to join her loved ones in paradise on Sunday, July 28, 2024. 

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Central and Smyrna Church of Christ. She was a retired registered nurse and a much-loved sister and aunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bob Reed, William "Billy" Reed, Meadows Reed and George Edward Reed; brother-in-law, Landon Cantrell; niece, Wendy Fults and great-nephews, Justin and Bryan Reed. 

She is survived by sister, Sylvia Cantrell of McMinnville; brothers, Thomas (Sharon) Reed, Richard (Debbie) Reed and Douglas (Dessa) Reed all of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Shirley Reed of McMinnville and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to caregivers, Hollie Fernandez and Sharon Shannon; CNA's, Treva and Raeleigh; nurses, Cassie, Lacey, Aysha and Tiffany and Gentiva nurses, Ashley Dyer, Erica Jones and Teresa Johnson and many others.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville with Rickey Magness to officiate. The Warren County Nurse Honor Guard will perform a ceremony to pay tribute to Ms. Reed. There will be no service or visitation held at High's. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smyrna Church of Christ, Central Church of Christ or East End Church of Christ benevolence funds, Gentiva Hospice or Meals on Wheels.
