Barbara Carol Pryor

Barbara Carol Pryor, age 86, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born April 5, 1935 and died September 23, 2021 at her son’s residence following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, a member of Arlington Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Oliver and Edna Christian Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Doyle Cooper Pryor; very special grandparents, John and Hassie Christian; loving mother-in-law, Martha Ann Pryor; brothers, Billy (Barbara) Davis and Morris (Barbara) Davis; and daughter-in-law, Vickie Pryor. Mrs. Pryor is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Susan Pryor of Morrison, TN, Kenny and Jane Ann Pryor, and Brent and Tamra Pryor both of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren and spouses, Paul and Shelly Davis, Almetia and Jimmy Jones, Abram and Kaitlyn Pryor, Martha and Jared Johnston, Sam and Devon Pryor, Spencer and Lauren Pryor, Cody Pryor, Jenna Newby, Jacob Newby, and Jessie Newby; thirteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Margret Young of McMinnville, TN. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Wayne Cantrell and Jared Johnston officiating. Friends are to meet at cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels or Hamilton Street Activity Center.
