Barbara Jo Mayfield Clark

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Barbara Jo Mayfield Clark, age 76, was born September 11, 1947 and died August 8, 2024 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. 

A retired employee of Yorozu and member of New Union Church, she was the daughter of the late Carl Joseph and Dessie Youngblood Mayfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Ronnie Clark and companion, Louie McCoy.

Ms. Clark is survived by son, Kevin (Brenda) Clark of Ethridge, TN; grandchildren, Tyler (Amber) Clark of McMinnville, Trey (Julie) Clark of McMinnville, Megan (Landon) Evans of Iowa and Livia (Holden) Carter of McMinnville; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Jayce, Eliza and Oliver; sister, Carletta (Rodney) Wells of Lake City, TN; brother, Dennis (Gayle) Mayfield of Cookeville, TN; several nieces, and nephews also survive.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Long Cemetery in Van Buren County with Paul Roberts to officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at High's. There will be no visitation Sunday at High's, everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
