Bearl Domer Wylie, age 93, a McMinnville, TN resident and Jackson County, TN native, was born November 29, 1927 and died October 18, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness. He was an electrician at Magnetek, a retired United States Army veteran of WWII, a member of the non-Denominational faith, and the son of the late Willie N. and Mamie Spivey Wylie, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Jewell Jordan Wylie; son, Don Wylie; brothers, Earl, Odus, and Willie Wylie, Jr.; and sisters, Georgia King, Betty Wylie, and Merlene Hall. Mr. Wylie is survived by daughter-in-law, Kathy Wylie of Calhoun, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Julie Wylie of St. Lucie, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Phillip Crowe of McMinnville, TN; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, Omer Wylie of Gainsboro; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Carl Crowe and Greg Sweeton officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
