McMinnville, TN resident and Woodbury, TN native Beatrice Campbell Mathis, age 88, was born July 13, 1935 and died May 18, 2024 at McMinnville Boarding Home following an extended illness.

A homemaker and member of Ivy Bluff Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Shelia and Goldie Emery Campbell. She was married April 9, 1955 to Morris Mathis who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Shelia Campbell, Jr., Mickey Campbell and Gary Campbell; sisters, Gail Hawkins and Carol Pinson and son-in-law, James Winnett.

Mrs. Mathis is survived by sons, Howard (Geraldine) Mathis of McMinnville, David (Marlee) Mathis of Rochester, MN and Robert (Sherie) Mathis of the Centertown Community; daughter, Sherry Winnett of McMinnville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Lois King of Woodbury and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in High's Chapel with Brian Reed to officiate. Interment will follow at Ivy Bluff Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at High's.
