McMinnville resident and Warren County native Betty Joan Fults, age 91, was born December 4, 1933 and died February 21, 2025 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.
Mrs. Fults was a retired teacher at Fairview Elementary, co-owner of Discount Shoe Store and member of McMinnville Church of God. She was the daughter of the late Lowell Hollace and Delma Fannie Hale McGee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Vandy Fults; siblings, Jerry McGee and Barbara Sue Corum and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Reva Jane McBride, James Black Fults, Jr., Mildren Mae Ortegas, Trisha Jane McInnis, Estes Fults and George Winston Churchill Fults.
She was married February 5, 1960 to Roosevelt Fults of McMinnville who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Steven Craig Fults of Pikeville, TN and Jason Fults of McMinnville; grandchildren, Marissa Mason and Hunter Fults; sister-in-law, Deamie Fults and nieces and nephews, Darrell Austin, Harold Austin, Carol Clark, Lori Corum Judkins, Monica Brewer, Angela Basso, Dena Youngblood, Blake Patterson, Benny McBride, Dan McInnis, Tammy Taylor and Marvin Fults.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Bro. Tommy Burke to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
