Betty Joyce Higginbotham

Betty Joyce Higginbotham, age 82, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born May 24, 1938 and died May 13, 2021 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness. She was a retired inspector with Aqua Tech, a family caregiver, a member of New Union Methodist Church, and the daughter of the late William Henry and Rilda Jane Lamb Higginbotham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Roberts, and Eva Keathley. Ms. Higginbotham is survived by two sisters, Brenda Hayes, and Jenny Mae Higginbotham both of McMinnville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Wayne and Nancy Higginbotham of McMinnville, TN; and brother-in-law, Jerry Roberts of the Centertown Community. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021 at New Union Cemetery, Hwy. 30 in Warren County with Tim Lewis officiating. No visitation will be held at High’s.
