Betty Joyce McCormick, age 84, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born August 17, 1933 and died May 17, 2018 in Raintree Manor following a brief illness.She was the retired owner of a boarding home, a member of the Eastern Star, member of North Hills Church of God of Prophecy and daughter of the late Anderson and Louise Crim Gribble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Johnnie “Buck” McCormick, Jr.; three brothers, Howard, Jewell and Robert Gribble; and four sisters, Jessie-Dee Della Rosa, Georgia Coffee, Sylvia Bolin and Nona Morgan.Mrs. McCormick is survived by two sisters, Flossy Sadler of Goodlettsville, TN and Frances Crum of McMinnville; four step-sons, Timothy McCormick and wife Tammy, Billy McCormick, Johnnie McCormick and wife Patsy all of McMinnville and Garrett McCormick of Missouri; step-daughter, Angela Tronsin of Missouri; step-grandchildren, Jessie McCormick, Bryce McCormick, Shawn McCormick, Sherry McCormick, Greta McCormick, Garrett McCormick, Jr., Stephanie McCormick, Johnnie McCormick IV, Kayla McCormick, Bryson McCormick, Grace Tronsin and Dillon Tronsin; several step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Wanda Fults, Larry Gribble, Wayne Gribble, Marshall Griffith, Dwight Goodman, Joyce Burrell, Betty Vaughn and Shirley Cantrell; special nieces and nephews, Jeremy Burrell, Dawn Vinson and Brooklyn Vinson.Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Mt. View Cemetery on Hwy. 30 with Michael Harris to officiate.
