Betty Lou Dodson

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Betty Lou Dodson, age 83, was born February 10, 1939 and died November 14, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A homemaker, nursery worker and beloved babysitter, she was the daughter of the late James Wesley and Georgia Merriman Page. She was married to James Donald Dodson who preceded her in death on May 13, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Donnie Ray Dodson; brother, Arthur Lee Page and two sisters, Hattie Jo Cantrell and Doris Faye Jennings.

Ms. Dodson is survived by daughter, Tina Dodson (Jack Pitmon) of McMinnville, TN; granddaughter, Racheal (David) Corley of McMinnville, TN; two grandsons, Daniel Dodson of Smithville, TN and Eric Dodson of McMinnville, TN and six great-grandchildren, Hannah Corley, Rylan Corley, Kalie Dodson, Jesse Dodson, Trinity Dodson and Dakota Dodson.

A private graveside service will be held with the family at Smyrna Cemetery.
