Betty Lou Rayburn Plemons

Manchester, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native Betty Lou Rayburn Plemons, age 86, was born October 14, 1937 and died May 6, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.

A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Amiel Cheatham and Olivine Rigney Rayburn. She was married to James “Jim” Louis Plemons on January 2, 1957 who preceded her in death. 

Mrs. Plemons is survived by children, Melanie L. Plemons, Melinda (William) Stephens and Marianne D. Plemons (Allen Mills) and grandchildren, Trevor Stephens and Katie Holmes. 

Funeral service will be held in High’s Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 8, 2024. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
