Bettye Sue Powers

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Bettye Sue Powers, age 82, was born August 6, 1939 and died September 23, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired clerk from Kingwood Market and a member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Litha Delong Taylor. She was married to Don Powers who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Glen Travis Powers; grandson, Lee Powers; sisters, Jane Dixon and Louise Womack; and brothers, Euclid Taylor, Hubert Taylor, and Bob Taylor. Mrs. Powers is survived by daughter, Becky Young of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Tegan (Cory) Bettis of Benton, TN, Tyler (Autumn) Young of McMinnville, TN, Dallas (Cameron) Neal of Walling, TN, and Dylan Powers of Johnson City, TN; great-grandchildren, Lanie George and Shelby Wanamaker, both of McMinnville, TN; daughter-in-law, Jackie Powers of McMinnville, TN; and special friends and family, Brenda and Clyde Sullivan, Stella Patrick, Diane Mullican and all the Powers family, Faye and Steve Breedlove, Ronnie and Diana Powell, and Mark Young.
