McMinnville resident and Franklin County, TN native Beulah Mae Powers McBee, age 88, was born December 1, 1930 and died December 23, 2018 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Nancy Jane Sherrill Powers. She was married to James Albert McBee who preceded her in death November 26, 2018. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Jackson Powers, Jr. She was a very active member of the Hickory Creek Home Demonstration Club for over thirty years. Mrs. McBee is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Nancy McBee of McMinnville; two granddaughters, Lauren McBee of Chattanooga, TN and Ashley McBee of McMinnville; sister, Annie Sue Sherrill of Franklin County, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Jacqueline DeBerry and Rev. Harry Green officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Gum Creek Cemetery in Franklin County, TN with Rev. Rocky Whray officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. There will be no visitation at High's.
