Bobby Curl Mullican

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bobby Curl Mullican, age 83, was born November 5, 1936 and died October 3, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired supervisor with Magnetek, former employee of Irving Materials, Inc. and Tennessee Army National Guard veteran, he was the son of the late Nolen D. and Sarah Emma Cantrell Mullican. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Mullican. Mr. Mullican graduated with the class of 1956 from Dibrell High School. He was a member of the Church of Christ where he attended Westwood Church of Christ for the last fifty years. Mr. Mullican was married October 25, 1957 to Patsy Jean Gay Mullican, his high school sweetheart. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Bobby Lynn Mullican of McMinnville; grandson by choice, Matthew T. Savage of McMinnville; very special person, Neal Smith of McMinnville; siblings, James (Barbara) Mullican of Pennsylvania, Comer Mullican of McMinnville, Charles (Audrey) Mullican of Hixson, TN, Leard Mullican of McMinnville, Learon Mullican of Shelbyville, TN and Felix (Diane) Mullican of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Avalon Hospice. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2020 at Gardens of Memory with Ray Weddington and Rachel Cantrell officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's or the Alzheimer's Association both c/o High's. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com. High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
