Bobby Smoot Webb

Lifelong resident of Morrison, TN and Warren County, TN native Bobby Smoot Webb, age 87, was born September 23, 1934 and died April 26, 2022 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following a sudden illness. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Korean War, retired truck driver and member of Trousdale Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Barton Webb and Josephine Smoot Robinette. He was married to Edith “Goodie” Webb of Morrison, TN on July 28, 1956. In addition to his wife, Mr. Webb is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Portia (John) Stanley of Nashville, TN: granddaughter, Karyn Stanley of Nashville, TN and brother and sister-in-law, Nile (Sue) Duke of Plano, TX. Graveside service and interment will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Trousdale Cemetery in Warren County, TN following visitation with Jackie Smoot, Nile Duke, Jimmy Smoot, Charles Bell and Gary Bell officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at High’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund.
