Lifelong resident of Warren County, TN, Carl Glen Bouldin, age 83, was born May 21, 1938 and died May 2, 2022 at his residence in Viola, TN. A farmer, former mayor of Viola from 2013 - 2016 and member of the Baptist church, he was the son of the late Everett and Cleo Kell Bouldin. Mr. Bouldin was named one of Warren County’s “Top 10 Conservation Farmers” of 1976 and Warren County Outstanding Young Farmer of 1969. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Winford Bouldin, James Bouldin, D.L. Bouldin, Jessie Bouldin and A.P. Bouldin and sisters, Gladys Blanks and Bessie Smithson. He was married to Marcia Bouldin of Viola, TN on January 2, 1980. In addition to his wife of 43 years, Mr. Bouldin is survived by daughters, Carla (Jimmy) Parson, Connie Bouldin Patrick and Leigh Ann Pedigo; sons, Kade Bouldin and Brent (Christy) Dyer; special dedicated friend, Irma Torres; granddaughters, Brittany (John) Ley and Ashlyn (Jacob) Lee; grandson, Colton Dyer; great-granddaughter, Emory Ley and sisters-in-law, Christine Bouldin, Eva Sue Bouldin, Beth Bouldin and Marie Hixon. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Keith Bouldin and Brent Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
