Franklin, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Grady Carl Womack, age 68, was born December 20, 1949 and died October 6, 2018 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN following a sudden illness.A retired caterer, he was the son of the late Grady Monroe and Icie Mae Haley Womack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Mary Helen Jones; and nephews, Benny Jones and Danny Bilyeu.He is survived by sister, Martha Womack Bilyeu of Brentwood, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Benton and Betty Womack of McMinnville; best friend forever, Nancy Sheffield of Franklin, TN; nieces and nephews, David and Karen Jones, Mary Etta and Harry Moraccian, Carol and Lloyd Cross, Jeff and Donna Womack, Kathy and Phillip Hamner, and Melody McPherson; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins also survive.Carl was beloved by all his family and friends, especially by his nieces and nephews for his light-hearted spirit and his caring nature. He was a well-traveled gentleman.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday October 10, 2018 in High's Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
