Carol Starr Kennedy

McMinnville, TN resident and Chicago, IL native Carol Starr Kennedy, age 64, was born March 26, 1955 and died January 28, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following a sudden illness. Retired from Magnetek and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Edward Carden and Carlin Gunter Carden Pence. She was married to Kenneth S. Kennedy who preceded her in death on March 15, 2009. In addition to her husband, father and mother, she was preceded in death by step-father, Barry Pence; and great-grandson, Ashton. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Michael Boles of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kysha Kennedy of McMinnville; three granddaughters, Summer, LaVica and Lauren;  two great-grandchildren, Khloe and Gracelynn and two sisters, Peggy Wilson and Donna Zimzores and husband Jim. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 in High's Chapel with Harlen Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's.
