Carolyn Ann Boyd

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Carolyn Ann Boyd, age 73, was born August 30, 1948 and died August 9, 2022 at Willow Branch Health & Rehabilitation in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness. A retired nurse from Ascension St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN and a member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN, she was the daughter of the late J.C. and Dorothy Jo Roberts Panter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by great-nephew, Charlie Denton. Ms. Boyd is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Angie Higgins and Jenny and Alan Roberts, both of McMinnville, TN; four grandchildren and spouse, Shelby and Chris Wetsel, Jacob Jordan, Lane Boyd and Rance Higgins, all of McMinnville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Jody and Tracie Panter of McMinnville, TN; sister, Sherry Tabor of Michigan; nieces and nephews, McKenna Panter of McMinnville, TN, Ryan Tabor of Indiana and Eric and Jackie Tabor and Lindsey Tabor, both of Michigan; special friends, Sandra Wilmore of Smithville, TN, Janie Donalson of McMinnville, TN and Carlos Alexandre Dos Santos of Brazil and many other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Donald Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s. The Warren County Nurse Honor Guard will administer last rites. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Missions Fund, Shellsford Cemetery Trust Fund or the American Heart Association.
