Carolyn Elaine Walker

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Carolyn Elaine Walker, age 77, was born May 25, 1946 and died May 21, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A retired secretary with Walker Bros. Dairy Supply and a Christian, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mazil Ritchey Lawrence.  She was married to Jimmy Larry Walker who preceded her in death on July 21, 2021. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lannie and Richard Lawrence.

Mrs. Walker is survived by two daughters, Trina (Mike) Koltay of Morrison, TN and Rachel (Danny) Anderson of Lynchburg, TN; grandchild, Ryan (Kasey) Woods of Brentwood, TN; sisters, Judy Hale and Regina Solomon, both of McMinnville and brothers, Tony, Ricky and Kim Lawrence, all of McMinnville. 

The family would like to express a special appreciation to ones that allowed her to be at home where she truly wanted to be, Sarah Smith, Stephanie Casey, Paula Pitts, Pam Dunn and Leila Haston with Gentiva Hospice.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to Blues Hill Cemetery Fund or The McMinnville Gideons.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, may 24, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Andrew Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
