Charlene King

Beersheba Springs, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Charlene King, age 84, was born October 30, 1937 and died January 17, 2022 at her daughters residence in Beersheba Springs, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of the pressing department at Colonial Shirt Factory and a member of the Methodist church, she was the daughter of the late Charlie J. and Ivy Leola Roberts Fults. She was married to Corbet H. King who preceded her in death on October 15, 2004. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers. Mrs. King is survived by four children, Kenneth (Lorie) King of Beersheba Springs, TN, Judy (Ken) Smith of Beersheba, TN, Anna (Dave) Hobbs and Bettie (Ralph) Rhea, both of Altamont, TN; grandchildren, Glen (Tracy) Jennings, Shane Smith, Gary (Tiffany) Hobbs, Coy (Brandis) King, Corey (Cassie) King, Meleigha Wockason, Mary Ann (Louis) Garcia, Kenneth Ray King, Hayden King, and K-Sun King; great-grandchildren, Jonathan (Cecilee) Jennings, Christopher Jennings, Feliciana Hobbs, Hunter Hobbs, Corbet King, Courtney King, Harley King, Alex Garcia, Lyndsey Garcia, and Delilah Wockason; four sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Gary Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Hunerwadel Cemetery in Grundy County, TN.
