Charles Ronald Hale

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Charles Ronald Hale, age 74, was born January 30, 1949 and died June 20, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.           

A retired nurseryman and member of Westside Baptist Church, he was the son of Thurman and Verna Beatrice Davis Hale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Tammy Renee Hale McCormick; brothers, James, Donald, Gary and Danny Hale and sisters, Paulette Hale and Diane Hale.

He was married to Peggy Dillon Hale of McMinnville, TN on May 17, 1968. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hale is survived by son, Charles Richard (Heather) Hale of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Winston Corde McCormick of McMinnville, TN; brothers, Larry Hale of McMinnville, TN and Douglas (Peggy) Hale of Pennsylvania; sister, Rebecca Hale of McMinnville, TN; sisters-in-law, Peggy Russell Hale and Joyce Russell Hale, both of Nashville, TN and Ollene Hale of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Nathan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at High’s. There will be no visitation on Saturday.
