Cheryl Vaughn

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Cheryl Lynn Vaughn, age 57, was born April 14, 1964, and died December 31, 2021, at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker, volunteer with Helping Hands and Kids of the Community, and a member of the Presbyterian faith, she was the daughter of Etheleen Fitch Hobbs of Altamont, TN, and the late William Lewis Hobbs. In addition to father, she was preceded in death by sister, Linda Rhea. She was married to James F. Vaughn of McMinnville, TN, on July 9, 1989. In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Vaughn is survived by son, Matt Vaughn of McMinnville; grandson, Matthew Vaughn of McMinnville; sisters, Wanda Fleisher of McMinnville, Deborah Hobbs of McMinnville, and Sandra Myers of Altamont; brother, Waymon Hobbs of McMinnville; half-sister, Carolyn Tittsworth Hobbs; half-brother, Jason Hobbs; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Vaughn will be cremated, as per her wishes. There will be no service or visitation at High’s.
