Chester Ray Dove

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Chester Ray Dove, age 79, was born March 30, 1944 and died May 15, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.           

A carpenter, he was the son of the late Ray and Mary McGee Dove.  He was married to Linda Dove who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two children, Walter Ray Dove and Anita Darlene Dove; grandson, Ben Dove and special friend, Sharon Sparkman.

Mr. Dove is survived by three children, Bobby (Debbie) Dove of Rock Island, TN, Ronnie Seals of Arizona and Cristy Grissom of Rock Island, TN; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Old Bybee Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Willard Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at High’s.
