Christine Nicholas Medley

Morrison, TN resident and Pickett County, TN native Christine Nicholas Medley, age 87, was born April 19, 1935 and died October 5, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith, she was the daughter of the late Joe H. and Bercelia Poore Nicholas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Russell Neal Medley; two sisters, Delina Gaither and Sarah Cooper and five brothers, Virgil, Holden, Noble, Arlen and Roosevelt Nicholas.

Ms. Medley is survived by eight children and spouses, Edwin Neal Medley of McMinnville, TN, Sharon and Ronnie Holmes of Manchester, TN, Marsha and Kevin Abregg, Jeffery Medley, Jr. and Penny Medley, Billy Joe and Laura Medley, Connie Sue Medley and Tim and Sherry Medley, all of McMinnville, TN; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Amos Nicholas of Byrdstown, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday October 7, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Henry Arnold and Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
