McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Cindy Phillips Rhea, age 73, was born July 28, 1945 and died April 22, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Norman Doyle and Betty Jo Henegar Phillips, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Bernard and Sally Henegar and Fred and Anice Phillips. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Teri Rhea Pennington of McMinnville and Lori and Lee Martin of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren, Hannah Craig and husband Luther of Smyrna, TN, Blake Pennington of McMinnville, Hallie Jo Pennington of McMinnville, Jared Martin of Murfreesboro, TN and Ansley Martin of Murfreesboro, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jo and Neal Cox of McMinnville; brother, Norman Doyle Phillips, Jr. and wife Tamera of North Carolina; aunt, Ann Love and husband Wayne of Murfreesboro, TN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive, and a wealth of close friends and extended family. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 in High's Chapel with Jack Smith, Jr. and Alan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
