Quebeck, TN resident and Lebanon, IN native Clifford Earl Shelton, age 71, was born July 5, 1952 and died January 3, 2024 at his daughter's residence following an extended illness.
A retired night shift plant manager from Yorozu Automotive of Tennessee and a member of Friendship Baptist Church, he was the son of Phyllis Mooney and the late Clifford Shelton. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Mike Shelton and sister, Terri Thompson.
He was married to Nancy Shelton of Quebeck, TN. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons, Jeff Sellers of McMinnville, TN, Cory (Debbie) Benfield of Jacksonville, FL and Russell (Paige) Shelton of Quebeck, TN; daughters, Carie (Lamont) Blevins of McMinnville, TN and Stace Harper of Tracy City, TN; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Diana (Tom) Farmer and brother-in-law, Ken Thompson of Columbia, TN.
Per Mr. Shelton’s wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Monica Lewis with Gentiva Hospice of McMinnville and Gentiva Hospice of Cookeville and family friend, Brittani Snider for helping them in their time of need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Animal Control & Adoption Center or Shelter or White County Animal Shelter.
