Cynthia Darlene "Dardie" Polson

McMinnville

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Cynthia Darlene Bess Polson, age 63, was born October 17, 1961 and died Monday, January 6, 2025 at home surrounded by her family following an extended illness.

She was the daughter of the late Earl and Wilda Scott Bess. In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Nina Polson; sister-in-law, Sandy Polson; brother-in-law, Joe Key and nephew, Josh Rigsby.

She was married June 1, 1977 to Danny Polson of McMinnville who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children: Robert Keith (Christene) Polson and Carissa Judkins (Austin) Tittle both of McMinnville; grandchildren: Elizabeth Polson of Tallahassee, FL, Alex Polson of McMinnville, Liberty Polson of Tallahassee, FL and Izabella Judkins of McMinnville; sisters: Diane (Jr.) Price of Hillsboro, TN and Sherrie (Calvin) Hammond of Rock Island; sisters-in-law: Diane Craven of McMinnville and Linda Key and Emmajean (Peanut) Fults both of Rock Island and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Darlene or Dardie, as she was always known her sisters, strived her whole life to show love and kindness to everyone she met. She always made people smile. She will be remembered as someone who cared for those around her and loved collecting owls, eating Chinese and listening to old rock music. She worked hard and will be remembered by many for her time working at NHC loving and serving every patient, making them feel loved always. 

Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with David Lance to officiate. There will be no service or visitation held at High’s. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with David Lance to officiate. There will be no service or visitation will be held at High’s. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
