Daisy Junetta Gilbert

McMinnville resident and Pikeville, TN native Daisy Junetta Gilbert, age 77, was born April 22, 1947 and died February 25, 2025 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness.

She was a retired employee of Oster Corporation and member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by foster parents, Gaines and Lola Evans; husband, Billy Howard Gilbert; sons, Scottie Ray Gilbert and Jeffrey Howard Gilbert and sister, Margaret.

Mrs. Gilbert is survived by son, Ritchie Gilbert of Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren, Maggi (Jordan) Fann, Ryan Gilbert, Amber Passenger, Eli Gilbert, Jake Gilbert and Tristen Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Taylor Passenger and Talon Fann and sister, Kay Guy of Spencer, TN.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at NHC Healthcare. 

Per her wishes, Mrs. Gilbert was cremated, and the family held a private inurnment.
