Daniel Joseph Jones, Jr.

McMinnville, TN resident and Chicago, IL native Daniel Joseph Jones, Jr., age 50, was born April 1, 1971 and died February 5, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN following a sudden illness. A self-employed repossession agent and member of Christian Fellowship Church, he was the son of the late Daniel Joseph and Rose Marie Smith Jones, Sr. He was married to Gennie Jones of McMinnville, TN on July 7, 2001. In addition to his wife, Mr. Jones is survived by son, Daniel Joseph Jones, III and Dustin Cody Hirzel, both of McMinnville, TN; sisters, Kimberly Keiss (Lee Brazwell) and Anna Vines; brothers, Jimmy Jones, Sammy (Cary) Jones, and Tony Jones (Penny Olejniczak) and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Nathan Jones and Danny Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
