Danny Eugene Davenport

McMinnville, TN resident and Cannon County, TN native Danny Eugene Davenport, age 75, was born August 1, 1949 and died December 18, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Davenport was an employee of Carrier for 35 years and member of the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Wiley and Inez, uncles, Joe and Roy and aunt, Magaline.

He is survived by his loving wife, Delma; children, Jay (Jenny) and Monica (Mike); grands, Cameron (Andrea), Blake, Heather (Daniel) and Adaline; great-grands, Brinley, Levi and Hudson; siblings, Larry (Evelyn) and Wilma and special friends, Steve (MariAnn) and Doug.

A special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and all who have sent prayers, food and thoughtful texts and calls.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County with Kevin Dunlap to officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at High’s.
