Viola, TN resident and Elkhart, IN native Darroll Bradley Smith, age 70, was born January 28, 1950 and died December 31, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness. Retired manager of M.D.I. Inc. in Edwardsburg, MI, owner of “Camp on the Lake” in Guild, TN on Nick-A-Jack Lake, and member of Rockliff Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Roscoe Smith and Geraldine Christman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-father, Everett Christman; brothers, Bill Smith, Ray Smith, and Keith Smith; and sisters, Pat McClelland and Gail Pariso. He was married to Rhonda Faye Green Smith of Viola, TN on August 4, 1973. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Brian Covert of Morrison, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Tamara Smith of Owens Crossroads, AL; grandchildren, Bradley Covert, Thomas Covert, Lillianne Covert, Alexis Smith, and Georgia Covert; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Lavern Mason of Bristol, IN; and brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Kim Smith of Bradenton, FL. Funeral service and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Rockliff Church of Christ in Warren County, TN with Bill Boyd and Mike Bouldin officiating. Burial will follow in Rockliff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at Rockliff Church of Christ. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
