McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Delma Faye Kirby, age 85, was born March 6, 1937 and died July 8, 2022 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Factory, an inspector at Aquatech Inc. and a member of Church of Christ at Unity, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Dillon Tubb and Beatrice Bell. She was married to Robert Lee Kirby on June 18, 1960 who preceded her in death on July 21, 2018. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Gene Allison and niece, Lesa Tubb. Mrs. Kirby is survived by son, Mark Kirby of McMinnville, TN; granddaughters, Brittany (Jessie) Hillis of Rock Island, TN and Ashli (DJ) Cantrell of McMinnville, TN; great-grandchildren, Allie Newby Hillis, Kade Hillis, Remington Hillis, Jackson Kirby, Aubrey Cantrell and Bowman Cantrell; sister, Sue Allison of McMinnville, TN; brothers, Marlin (Georgia) Tubb and Wayne (Carolyn) Tubb both of McMinnville, TN; nieces and nephews, Christie Allison, Brad Allison, Julie Miller, Jeff Tubb and John Tubb and several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. A special thanks to caregiver, Mickey Whitaker, the entire staff at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation Center, McMinnville Florist and High Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Billy Duggin, Christie Allison and Jeff Tubb officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
