Calhoun, GA resident and Detroit, Michigan native Donald Domer Wylie, age 69, was born September 7, 1951 and died March 10, 2021 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA following an extended illness. A retired self-employed nurseryman and a member of Revelate Church, he was the son of the Bearl Domer Wylie of McMinnville, TN and the late Loretta Jewell Jordan Wylie. He was married to Kathy Darlene Whiteaker Wylie of Calhoun, GA on September 5, 1970. In addition to his father and wife, Mr. Wylie is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Joey Mooney of Calhoun, GA; son, Donnie Wylie of Calhoun, GA; two granddaughters, Emelia Greenway and Gabrielle Greenway, both of Calhoun, GA; grandson, Luke Mooney of Calhoun, GA; great-grandson, Houston Stone of Calhoun, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Phillip Crowe of McMinnville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Julie Wylie of Port St. Lucie, FL; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Lance Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County, TN.
