Donald Ray Griffith

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Donald Ray Griffith, age 79, was born July 28, 1944 and died July 17, 2024 at his residence following a brief illness. 

A retired salesman with House-Hasson Hardware Company and member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder, he was the son of the late Johnnie Hobert and Nora Lee Elrod Griffith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Julia Carter. 

Don was married June 5, 1966 to Susie Griffith of McMinnville who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Farrah Griffith of Sparta, TN, Heath and Jamie Griffith of McMinnville and Randy Wood of Silver Springs, MD; daughter, Carla Wood of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Morris and Scarlet Griffith of McMinnville and brother-in-law, Doug Carter of Rock Island.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024 in High's Chapel with Tony Lawrence to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at High's.
