Doris Ann Giles

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Doris Ann Giles, age 80, was born November 6, 1941 and died August 12, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired data processor from City Bank & Trust Co. and of the Church of Christ faith, she was the daughter of the late Henry Loftis and Anna Pauline Hudgens Perry. She was married to Walter Hollis Giles who preceded her in death. Ms. Giles is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Valerie Giles of McMinnville, TN; grandson, Jeremiah Giles of McMinnville, TN; several step-grandchildren; special "daughter", Jennifer Abston and special caregivers, Brenda Murphy and Teresa Johnson. Graveside service and interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at High’s.
