Doris Ann Priest

McMinnville, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Doris Ann Priest, age 79, was born December 10, 1942 and died August 23, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A retired paper route driver for the Tennessean and of the Church of Christ faith, she was the daughter of the late Hallie D. Wheeler.  She was married to Ray Dean Priest on March 31, 1960 who preceded her in death on August 19, 2001. In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Gregory Allen Priest and Ricky Ray Priest.

Ms. Priest is survived by children, Terry Lynn Priest and Tina Renee Priest, both of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Dustin Ray Priest, Lindsey Hunter King, Chelsea Brooke King and Richard Dylan Priest and great-grandchildren, Lyla Ray King Wanamaker, Kenlee Ann King Myers, Chloe and Makenzie Priest and Leo Hunter King.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022 at Mt. View Hwy 30 Cemetery with Scotty Lawson officiating. There will be no service or visitation held at High’s.
