Dorothy Geraldine Potter, age 77, a Warren County, TN resident and native was born June 12, 1941 and passed away April 10, 2019 following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of Smyrna Church of Christ and daughter of the late Jones and Dorothy Priest McGregor. Mrs. Potter was married July 25, 1958 to Leo Potter who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Leta Ann Raymond; and brothers, David Leo McGregor and Jones Walton McGregor. Survivors include children and spouses, Ricky and Tammy Potter of McMinnville and Kimberly Denise and Terry Boyd of Rock Island; grandson, Codie Allen Phifer of Rock Island; sisters and brother-in-law, Marcellia Sullivan of North Carolina, Kathy Watkins of Rock Island and Pat and Randy Harper of McMinnville; brother, Terry McGregor of Bone Cave; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Karen Potter of McMinnville; cousins, Clifford and Khyva Starkey of McMinnville; special friends, Jane and Don Crouch of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 with Bill Walkup to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Hwy. 30. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at High’s.
