Douglas Bryan Capshaw

McMinnville, TN resident and Detroit, MI native Douglas Bryan Capshaw, age 57, was born September 27, 1964 and died October 23, 2021 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN following an extended illness. A former mechanic at Willmore Ford and materials handler at Pine Hill Plastics and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Clarence and Flossie Callebs Capshaw. Mr. Capshaw is survived by son, Calleb Capshaw of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Brittney Capshaw of McMinnville, TN; two sisters, Donna Kay Powers and Deborah Ann Lee, both of McMinnville, TN; Aunt, Dora Callebs of Michigan; two nephews, Allen Lee of McMinnville, TN and Brent Powers of Murfreesboro, TN; and great-nephew, Xander Lee also survive. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Sommer Worley and Mark Carrigan officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at High’s.
