Dr. Gary Wayne Gribble

April 30, 1952 — January 8, 2022

Kingsport, Tennessee resident and McMinnville, Tennessee native, Gary Wayne Gribble was born April 30th 1952 and died January 8th 2022 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired Family Practice physician and Air Force veteran, he was the son of the late J.B. Gribble. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Wayne Gribble. He was married March 26, 1971 to Teresa Brewer Gribble who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Christine Fisher Gribble of McMinnville, Tennessee; one daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Jason Joyner of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Emmerson Joyner, also of Mt. Carmel; one sister and brother-in-law, Donna and James Goolsby of McMinnville, Tennessee; one brother, Ronnie Gribble of Manchester, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Tony Lawrence officiating. No service or visitation will be held at High’s. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. The family respectfully request that everyone in attendance wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be left at www.highfuneralhome.com. High Funeral Home in McMinnville, TN is in charge of arrangements.
