Dwite David Woodlee, age 75, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native was born July 6, 1944 and passed away March 2, 2020 at his residence following a short illness. He was the son of the late Andrew Beecher and Pauline Fults Woodlee, Jr. and a member of the Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by brother, Leon Woodlee. Mr. Woodlee was married July 20, 1962 to Evelyn Ruth Harris Woodlee. He is also survived by daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Toby Gillette of Robertsdale, AL; son, Jason Woodlee of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Cody and Emily Woodlee of Newnan, Ga, Abbie Woodlee and fiancé Austin Rapp of Cumming, GA; Logan Dale Gillette and fiancée Hunter Ratliff and Lucas Dwite Gillette of Robertsdale, Al; sister, Marie (Bill) Anderson of McMinnville; brothers, Robert Woodlee and Adolf Woodlee, both of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Judie Woodlee of McMinnville, Mildred Rigsby of Hixson, TN, and Treva Monzano of McMinnville; brothers-in-law, Robert Harris and Billy Wayne Bouldin, both of McMinnville. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive. Mr. Woodlee was the owner of D. Woodlee Tractor Sales since 1990. He was the Kubota and Massey Ferguson dealer from 1990 thru 2005. He served as Chief of the Collins River Volunteer Fire Department for many years and was instrumental in establishing Firehall #2 in the Irving College Community. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 in High’s Chapel with Cody Woodlee and Ronald Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
