Earl R. Nunley

Earl R. Nunley, age 89, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born October 24, 1931 and died January 20, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness. He was a maintenance worker for 44 years at BRC, a member of Bethel Church, and the son of the late Hubert Andrew and Bessie Caldonia Taylor Nunley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Etta Rogers Nunley; three brothers, H.B. Nunley, Glenn Nunley, and Infant Nunley; and two sisters, Delphia Jennings, and Hilda Pennington. Mr. Nunley is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Earl Dwayne (Karen) Nunley of Murfreesboro, TN, and Milton (Carol) Nunley of the Mt. Zion Community; two grandsons, Jeremiah (Sarah) Nunley of Morrison, TN, and Matthew (Amy) Nunley of Bell Buckle, TN; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa Shirley, Lucas, Rachel Beth, and William Nunley; two great-great-grandchildren, Addison and Brooklyn Shirley; and two brothers, Francis Marion Nunley of McMinnville, TN, and Ronnie Nunley of Murfreesboro, TN. Mr. Nunley had his woodworking shop, “Earl’s Swings and Things”, where he made annual donations to Mt. Zion Picnic and Center Hill Cemetery. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Bo Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at High’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Avalon Hospice, 904 N.
