Centertown Community resident and Warren County, TN native, Eddie Dean Patterson, age 62, was born March 23, 1958 and passed away October 7, 2020 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. He was a farmer, master mechanic, a member of Woodbury Church of Christ, and the son of Ralph Edward Patterson of Murfreesboro, TN, and the late Gearldean Bratcher Prater. He was married to Bonnie Sue Hoover Patterson of the Centertown Community on April 25, 1981. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by stepfather, Huston “Hootie” Prater; paternal grandparents, Edgar Patterson, and Bertie Mae Blair Hale; maternal grandparents Jacob and Rosie Lee Cope Bratcher; and step-grandfather, Quince Prater. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Patterson is survived by three children, Megan Ferrell of the Centertown Community, Clint Edward (Brenda) Patterson of Clinton, TN and Kaitlin (Thomas) Parker of Clearmont, TN; five grandchildren, Grayson Mollinet, Kaydance Ferrell, Cole Edward Patterson, Braylen Ferrell, and Koen Ferrell; brother, Phillip (Bridgett) Prater of the Centertown Community; sister, Patsy Gregory of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces and nephews, Tony Foster, Lori McIntosh, Jason Foster, Amy Brandon, Will Prater, and John Porter Prater; two sisters-in-law, Judy Foster of Woodbury, TN and Pat (Shane) Nichols of Woodbury, TN. A host of aunts and uncles also survive. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 in High’s Chapel with Al Bugg officiating. Burial will follow in Ivy Bluff Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
