Eddie Dean Martin

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Eddie Dean Martin, age 64, was born July 26, 1960 and died September 3, 2024 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following an extended illness.

An employee of Plant a Tree Nursery and member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Mort and Willie Roberts Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Donnie, Leonard and Ricky Martin and sister, Joanne Nelson.

Mr. Martin is survived by daughters, Candice Evans of Rock Island and Treva Martin and Amie Martin both of McMinnville; sons, Joshua (Cristina) Martin and Shane Martin both of McMinnville; grandchildren, Shayla, Elizabeth, Jaythen, Kaitlyn, Aiden, California and Bradley; a great-granddaughter on the way; five brothers; four sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024 in High's Chapel with Anthony Campbell to officiate. Interment will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at High's.
