Edward Franklin Edens, “Frank”, a Nashville, TN resident and Charleston, WV native, was born November 14, 1948 and died suddenly at age 75 on April 5, 2024. He was a retired employee of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, which manages the Tennessee State Parks. He will be remembered for his love of hiking and photographing the many parks of Tennessee, enjoying his dog Fiona, and for his sense of humor. His beloved wife of twenty years, Linda Lou Edens, died in 2023. He was the son of the late Vernon L Edens and Virginia R Edens. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra West and his brother-in-law, Bud Powell. Frank is survived by two sisters, Cheryl Powell and Suzanne Hoover (Barry) both of Jacksonville, FL; nieces and nephews, Drema Woody, Juliana Bastin (Chris), Jill Lewis, Robert Armstrong and Jonathan West (Emily) and his great-nephews and great-great-nieces. Frank will be buried alongside his wife at Salem Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Florida.
