Edward Junior Griggs

McMinnville, TN resident and Norfolk, VA native Edward Junior Griggs, age 80, was born October 21, 1941 and died December 5, 2021 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness. He was a retired employee of Cracker Barrell and the son of the late Thad and Elizabeth Downey Griggs. Mr. Griggs is survived by his companion and girlfriend of 8 years, Barbara Ross of McMinnville, TN; special bonus family, Deedee and David Thrower and Roy Tucker; special bonus grandchildren, Laura and Cody Smartt and Michael and Katie Thrower; extra special bonus great-grandchildren, Corbin Smartt, Maisyn Smartt, and Everett Thrower; and family and friends in the Virginia area and deaf community also survive.
