Elizabeth Nadine Madewell

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Elizabeth Nadine Madewell, age 79, was born May 16, 1945 and died June 3, 2024 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville following an extended illness.           

A retired LPN of 35 years and a member of Dayspring Community Church, she was the daughter of the late Homer Dixon and Edna Frisby. She was married to Leonard Madewell for 41 years, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2013. Elizabeth and Leonard have now been reunited forever. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly Pelham; brother, Bobbie Dixon and sister, Carol Lawrence. 

Mrs. Madewell is survived by sons, James (Jackie) Madewell of Manchester, TN and Bryan (Charlize) Madewell of McMinnville; daughter, Tracey Madewell of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Destiny (Tyler) Harbough, Talynn Terry, Brayla Mayfield, Dashae Madewell, Mitchell Madewell, Meghan Madewell, and Amber Ingleburger; six great-grandchildren; several nephews, cousins and friends and special caregivers, April Reynolds and Angel Bishop. 

Mrs. Madewell will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later time. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
