Emma Jean Dunlap Klemm

Rock Island, TN resident and Quebeck, TN native Emma Jean Dunlap Klemm, age 97, was born January 11, 1927 and died March 25, 2024 at the Webb House Retirement Center in McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of St. Catherines Catholic Church, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Rhea Haltiman Dunlap. She was married to Richard Klemm on September 14, 1942 who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Clata Rhea Compton; brothers, Buddy Dunlap and Joe Dunlap; son, John Robert Klemm and daughter, Mary Jean Klemm. Mrs. Klemm is survived by son, Bill (Nan) Klemm of Rock Island, TN; grandchildren, Richard "Rick" (Michelle) Klemm of Lenoir, TN, Keith (Joy) Klemm of Harriman, TN, Melissa and John Tyler Klemm of Cookeville, TN and Kris (Tiffany) Klemm of Rock Island, TN; great-grandchildren, Tony, Ricky, Kalvin, Knox and Kade Klemm; many nieces, nephews and cousins and daughter-in-law, Patty Klemm of Rock Island, TN. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Rock Island Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Services will be held in High's Parlor Saturday at 12:00 p.m. with Father Bala officiating with visitation to follow until 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
