Estella Louise Russell Brown

Long-time resident of McMinnville, TN and Painesville, OH native Estella Louise Russell Brown, age 89, was born May 8, 1934 and died unexpectedly December 22, 2023 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN.

A member of Rolling Acres Brethren In Christ Church, she was a homemaker as well as bookkeeper for Brown’s Garage, her husband’s auto mechanic business. She was the daughter of the late Erwin Burr Russell, Sr. and Martha Jane Ralston Russell. She was married to L.A. Brown on June 7, 1952 who preceded her in death on December 24, 2004. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Terry Brown; brothers, Erwin, Jr. and Robert Russell and son-in-law, Robert Krofssik.

Mrs. Brown is survived by children, Gwen Krofssik of McMinnville, TN, Leslie (Bo) Smith of Mt. Juliet, TN and Greg Brown and Dennis (Angela) Brown both of McMinnville, TN; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.

Graveside service and internment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Center Hill Cemetery @ Hills Creek in Warren County, TN with Bro. Jeff McKinnon officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at High Funeral Home.
