Ethel Marie Shepherd Agee

Rock Island, TN resident and Cincinnati, OH native Ethel Marie Shepherd Agee, age 90, was born January 3, 1935 and died March 27, 2025 at her residence.

A retired security guard, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Patton Shepherd. She was married to Johnnie Agee on June 8, 1953 who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, James, Bill and Richard Shepherd and an infant sister.

Mrs. Agee is survived by three children, Joseph L. (Donna) Agee of Cookeville, TN, Joyce Davis of the Bone Cave Community and Thomas L. Agee of Monterey, TN; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Agee will be cremated and the family will hold a private service at a later date. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
